1) Here are some recent random pics. I took this first shot of my brother at San Joaquin Wildlife Sanctuary. We got out there a bit late and the light was already getting too low for shooting wildlife. So I took a pic of Bi instead. Shooting a portrait shot with a 400mm lens is not ideal, but it does give creamy bokeh. Here he is with his new telephoto lens.
2) Christmas came early for the kids. We've been wanting to get Megan and Ethan bigger bikes to ride since they have outgrown their tricycles. They are still in training wheels though. Sandy and I are big on safety so you will notice the knee pads, elbow pads and gloves along with the bike helmets.

Wildlife photography with my brother.
My brother recently bought a telephoto lens, so I took him out to try some wildlife photography. It was a bit slow for bird activity that morning but we still came home with some keepers. Pics taken a Bolsa Chica Ecological Reserve and San Joaquin Wildlife Sanctuary.

Colin
1) I had the pleasure of doing a photo shoot with Colin and his loving family this past weekend. We spent the afternoon playing at the park. We ran through the grass, played with the fountain and zipped down the slide. He even brought along his dog named Derby, who is a Saint Bernard. I could barely keep up with the little guy. He's an amazing kid and I look forward to our next play date.

Mater Dei JV Football vs Santa Margarita
1) A coworker of mine has a son named David who plays football for Mater Dei High School. He plays on their JV team on the defensive line and on special teams. Today was their last game of the season. She has been asking me to come out and photograph her son, but I always had to work on the days of their games. As luck would have it, I got out of work early today (thanks Johnna) and finally got to see him play.

A day out with Thomas
1) Last weekend, we took the family to meet Thomas the Train. As you know Ethan, loves Thomas. They actually have a full scale working Thomas the Train that tours around the country to meet kids and of course to sell lots of merchandise. This event took place at the Orange Empire Railway Museum in Perris.
2) Ethan comes face to face with his hero. He was awestruck and speechless to say the least. He couldn't stop staring.
3) A quick photo with his buddy.
4) Thomas was more than happy to pose for pictures with the kids.

7) Ethan and Megan also got to meet Sir Topham Hatt.
8) Megan and Noah play in the little trolley car.
9) We wait for our turn to board Thomas to go for a ride.
10) Noah was also star struck by Thomas. He kept on staring at Thomas and would not look at the camera for me.
11) All aboard! Megan and Ethan share a seat on the train. Here we go! The train chugged down the railroad for about a mile and then came back to the station.
12) Ethan says goodbye to his buddy. We will come and visit you again next year when you are back in town.
